We’re now 90% done building brick platforms for all our tents. Each tent now sits on a 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺, complete with a 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸-𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗮𝗶, a 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁-𝗶𝗻 𝗸𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲, and a 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗹. The river is currently still below the level of the upper banks. There’s a safe buffer before it reaches any of our units, and thankfully, no infrastructure damage has occurred at Westvaal Holiday Resort.![]()

We’re extremely blessed to see some sunshine today, and while the water level is still higher than usual, we’re staying positive that levels will begin to drop soon.![]()

We’re keeping a close eye on things, especially after the recent renovations along the riverbanks — let’s hope all that hard work held up well!![]()
