Eland is a large caravan, protected under roof, and enclosed with shade net all round.

Situated close to the ablution facilities, but within walking distance from the river, and still has lovely river views.

This enclosed caravan is equipped, like all our cabins, with all the necessities.  It has a large area under roof, inside the shade net area, as well as a lovely outside area where friends can relax around the braai.

For larger groups, Kudu, a 6 sleeper cabin, can also be reserved.  It is within a few paces from Eland – just across the lane

Kudu is a 6-sleeper camping cabin.  The open-plan cabin has lovely river views, and a large patio to sit outside to watch the stunning sunsets.

Set under a canopy of indigenous trees, including hundreds of white stinkwood, our general campsites are mostly covered with a carpet of grass.  Although most still have a beautiful view of the water, these campsites do not have river frontage.

All our campsites are supplied with their own electrical points (normal 3-point plugs), and waterpoints within close proximity.  

Our A-camp mostly consists of cabins towards the waterfront, but we do have a few lovely general campsites available a bit further away from the river.  Many of these still have a lovely view of the river.  A-camp campsites are also available where part of a group is booked into our cabins, while the rest of their party prefer camping.

Our most popular campsites are situated in our B-camp, which is a dedicated campsite area.  While the general sites are not on the waterfront, almost all campsites in the B-camp, have a stunning river view.

One section of the B-camp, forms a natural cosy circle, which is extremely popular with larger groups and clubs.  It is adaptable to suit groups of any size.  Kindly contact us for reservations for larger groups, as we offer special rates, depending on the size of the group.

We have full, well-kept ablution facilities in both our A- and B-camps.

We have 70 general campsites available.  With online bookings, these will be auto-allocated, unless guests request a specific campsite number under ‘Special Requirements’ in their reservation form.  Our Layout Map is available here

Set in a quiet shaded corner, B1 is ideal for a tent or two, or a smaller caravan,  It has a lovely riverfront and fishing spot.  If reserved together with B2 and B3, there is enough space for a large private family get-together.
